Conversion Practices

In New Zealand, all forms of conversion practices, which aim to change anyone’s sexuality and gender identity, are illegal.

Silent Gays is honoured to have been part of this legal process, as well as working with the Human Rights Commission to establish processes for helping anyone navigate this law.

Their website provides comprehensive help for anyone who might think they have been affected in any way by these practices.

Their staff are trained, compassionate, confidential and respectful and will guide you through every step, offering the best solutions to your particular needs and situation.

Visit the HRC website for all the legal options available: Human Rights Commission – Conversion Practices
