We humans just love to have our gods.
In fact, we have discovered/invented thousands of them, possibly millions, ever since whenever!
We create gods that reflect our needs, and some gods have survived the test of time because they satisfy a broad range of existential needs in a way that can be manipulated enough to fit into different times and cultures.
